Today, as I couldn't get the nerve to go anywhere that involved running shoes, I thought back to marathons past, and wondered (as I often do when I don't feel like exercising): Why do I run anyway?"
What is it that makes me get up and run for 10 minutes or 2 hours on some days?
And what is it that keeps me in, glued to demands of work, and conference calls, and (yes, I admit) idiotic reality television?
What gets you out of the house?
Why do you run?
